Arrival in Osaka, meeting with our assistant (Airport only) and transfer to Kyoto by limousine bus.

Day 3 KYOTO
KYOTO

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Kyoto Station by yourself. In the morning join a local Kyoto tour by coach. (Audio guides in English available on the bus.) Visit Kinkakuji temple, the “Golden Pavilion” – a Zen temple adorned with gold leaf – and the 15th century Ginkaku-ji “Silver Pavilion”, set in tranquil wooded gardens. Carry on to Kiyomizu-dera, a temple best known for its wooden stage that juts out from its main hall, 13 meters above the hillside below. Lunch is not included. Afternoon free time.

Day 4 KYOTO – HIROSHIMA – MIYAJIMA – KYOTO

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Kyoto station by yourself. Meet your English-speaking guide at Kyoto station and transfer to Hiroshima by Shinkansen bullet train. The Hiroshima sightseeing tour is by private coach. Visit: the Genbaku Dome – the remarkable surviving dome of the building directly under the epicentre of the atomic blast, at the centre of the Peace Memorial Park. Lunch is not included. Ferry to the island sanctuary of Miyajima. Visit the Itsukushima Shrine where the colourful buildings float on the water of the Inner Sea. Transfer to Kyoto by Shinkansen bullet train. Dinner is not included.

Day 5 KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Kintetsu Nara station by yourself. Full day Nara sightseeing tour by coach, includes an English audio guide. Visit Todaij temple, famous for the biggest bronze statue of Buddha in Japan, the Kasuga Taisha shrine with 3,000 lanterns; a Nara Park where many deer circulate freely. Finally, a visit to the Kokufuji temple. (With a Regular Course ticket, any bus will take you to Kintetsu Nara Station or JR Nara Station at no extra charge (once only). Kofukuji National Treasure Museum is closed Jan.-Dec.2017.You cannot enter) Lunch & Dinner are not included.
