Day 1 TOKYO – IZU – ITO

Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart to Izu by private coach.
Enjoy the Green tea picking experience (This experience is available only from May to June, and from mid-September to mid-October. In other seasons: visit Izu-no-Kuni Panorama park, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay and Hakone).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Departure to Ito and visit the Jogasaki coast, a beautiful section of coastline along the Pacific. Walking along the Jogasaki Coast, you will enjoy spectacular views of cliffs and small islands. The most popular section of the hiking trail is the 48-metre long, 23-metre high Kadowaki Suspension Bridge. From the observation deck of the lighthouse, Izu Seven Islands and Amagi can be seen in the distance.
Dinner is not included.

Day 2 ITO – IZU – SHIZUOKA
SHIZUOKA

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart
to Shuzenji Onsen, one of the oldest and most famous hot spring resort towns on the Izu Peninsula. Visit a bamboo forest and Shuzenji temple, founded about 1,200 years ago by Kobo Daishi, one of Japan’s most important religious personalities.
Lunch is not included.
Departure to Nihondaira at Shizuoka. From the summit observatory you can see Suruga Bay and Izu Peninsula and on a clear day you can also see Mt. Fuji. Take a ropeway and visit Mt. Kuno Toshogu shrine, the oldest Toshogu shrine in Japan.
Dinner at hotel or a local restaurant.

Day 3 SHIZUOKA – FUJINOMIYA – MT.FUJI – HAKONE
HAKONE

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart
to Fujinomiya. Visit Sengentaisha shrine and Shiraito falls, ranked among the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. The 150-metre wide cascade is fed by the volcano’s spring water and flows off the edge of a 20-metre high cliff in thin white streams that resemble hanging threads of silk. Departure to Mt. Fuji 5th station and lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel at Hakone.
Dinner at hotel and enjoy hot springs at a traditional Japanese-style hotel,”Ryokan”.

Stay at HAKONE KOWAKIEN TENYU 4* or similar
Day 4 HAKONE – KAMAKURA – TOKYO

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart to Komagatake by a private coach and ropeway. Enjoy cruising on lake Ashi. Departure to Kamakura and free time for lunch.
Lunch is not included.
Visit Kotokuin temple to see a giant bronze Buddha statue. Transfer to Tokyo and end of tour.
