Day 1 TOKYO – NIKKO – AIZUWAKAMATSU

Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart to Nikko by private coach. Visit the Toshogu shrine, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the Kegon falls and lake Chuzenji.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure to Aizuwakamatsu.
Dinner is not included.

Day 2 AIZUWAKAMATSU
AIZUWAKAMATSU

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart to Ouchijuku, which is famous for the numerous traditional thatched buildings from the Edo Period that line its main street. Visit Tsuruga castle. Built in 1384, the inside of the building is an interesting museum with attractive displays about the history of the castle.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Oyakuen garden and Aizu bukeyashiki (The Aizu samurai residence), which served as the quarters of the region’s most important and highest ranked samurai. There are 38 rooms and you can see the samurai lifestyle of the age. Return to hotel.
Dinner is not included.

Day 3 AIZUWAKAMATSU – URABANDAI – NIIGATA
NIIGATA

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and depart to Goshikinuma via the Bandaisan Gold Line. Enjoy 1-2 hour walking trail at Goshikinuma, which is a cluster of five volcanic lakes situated at the foot of Mount Bandai.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Cruising at lake Inawashiro. Departure to Niigata.
Dinner is not included.

Stay at NIKKO NIIGATA 4* or similar
Day 4 NIIGATA – YAHIKO – UONUMA – TOKYO

Breakfast at your hotel.
Meet with your English-speaking guide at the hotel and departure to Yahiko. Visit to Yahiko shrine and Yahiko park, where you can see the different expressions of the four seasons, especially known for its autumn leaves & spring cherry blossoms.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Departure to Uonuma to visit a sake brewery. Proceed to Echigoyuzawa Station, where you can also visit Ponshukan Sake and Rice Museum to taste many brands of sake. Luggage is forwarded to hotel in Tokyo by coach, which will be delivered 1 hour after your hotel arrival. Take the Shinkansen train to Tokyo and end of tour.
